The US Food and Drug Administration has issued a warning to parents against giving cold and cough medicines to children under the age of 2 unless they are advised to do so by a qualified physician.
The warning comes on the heels of reports of hundreds of adverse reactions and some deaths in children under two as a result of some of the cold and cough medicines.
