Fruits and Diets

It is summer time and fruits are everywhere and if you are like me, you want to eat fruits all the time.  They are so sweet and juicy.  IF you are trying to lose weight, I want you remember that everything you eat has calories and calories are what counts.  It’s like a chequebook, if you spend more than you earn then you will have a deficit. If you spend less than you earn you have a asset and if you spend what you earn you have a neutral situation.

I would say however, that before you reach for the chocolate or chips it is 100% better for your health to reach for an apple, strawberries, cherries, mangoes. Mangoes are so sweet when they are ripe they curb your craving for other sweets and also for food, I find.
